Sharks look to keep rolling

ST. PAUL, Minnesota (Ticker) -- The San Jose Sharks attempt to

continue their march through the Western Conference when they

visit the struggling Minnesota Wild on Wednesday.

The conference leader with 60 points, San Jose has earned at

least a point in 26 of its last 27 games.

Owners of a gaudy 18-0-2 home record, the Sharks' 10-4-2 mark

away from HP Pavilion is equally impressive, despite the fact

that the club is 1-1-2 in its last four road games.

After a blazing start to the season, Todd McLellan's club has

cooled off a bit, going 3-2-1 in its previous six contests.

Minnesota is coming off a deflating 2-1 setback against the

Calgary Flames on Monday - its second straight loss.

Marian Gaborik missed his second straight game, but the team is

slowly working the two-time All-Star back into the lineup after

a lower body injury sidelined him for 27 games.

The Wild have posted a 10-7-2 record at home, but have failed to

win back-to-back games here since November 13-15.

In their last contest at Xcel Energy Center, the Wild fell to

Chicago, 4-1, on Sunday.
