St. Louis Blues veteran forward Jason Arnott undergoes minor eye surgery

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues are going to have to make due without veteran forward Jason Arnott for a little while.

The NHL club announced Arnott successfully had a cataract removed from his right eye Wednesday and is expected to be sidelined for seven days.

The 36-year-old native of Collingwood, Ont., signed a one-year deal as a free agent with the Blues in July.
