Stars captain Brenden Morrow won't be suspended for instigating fight

According to Canadian sports network TSN, the NHL has decided not to suspend Dallas Stars captain Brenden Morrow, or fine coach Dave Tippett after Morrow was issued an instigator for a fight with Los Angeles captain Dustin Brown Tuesday night.

An automatic one-game suspension for the player and a $10,000 fine to the coach is levied on the team if an instigator penalty is called within the final five minutes of a game. However, the NHL reserves the right to review each case.

Morrow fought Brown after the King hit Mike Ribeiro into the boards. Brown was ejected and handed a five-minute major for boarding, though no further discipline is expected for him.
