SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- The San Jose Sharks have been

virtually unbeatable at home. Unfortunately for the rest of the

league, that is where they'll be for the next four contests.

San Jose looks to run its winning streak to nine games when it

hosts the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday.

Joe Thornton had a goal and three assists in the first period as

the Sharks cruised to a 5-2 triumph over former coach Ron Wilson

and the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday.

The victory improved San Jose's record to 13-0-1 at the HP

Pavilion.

Columbus is opening a three-game road trip and can match its

season-high winning streak of three games with another win.

Kristian Huselius scored the game-winner with 4:44 left as the

Blue Jackets defeated the Vancouver Canucks, 3-2, on Monday.

Rick Nash had two assists and fed Huselius in front for the

winning tally.

The Sharks had an 11-game winning streak last season from

February 21-March 14.
