Thank you, Mario

As a life long Pittsburgh Penguins fan living in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area, I asked a few baby Pens fans what was their favorite moment of the Game 7 Stanley Cup final.

Most said it was seeing one of the former baby Pens raising the Cup. For me, the ultimate thrill was to see Mario once again with Stanley over his head.

Without you, Mario, there would be no hockey in Pittsburgh and none of this would have been possible.

When the cards were stacked against you with the unknown future of this team and the arena, you persevered and got what you so rightfully deserved...the Stanley Cup!

You are a true hockey hero. Thanks again for saving the Pittsburgh Penguins!
