The kind, caring Devil

A friend and I recently scored post-game dressing room passes for a Devils game and even though he was the No. 1 star of the game, did interviews for a half hour and was probably dying to go home after a day of hard work, Zach Parise still stayed and chatted with me and my buddy for a good 20 minutes.

I don’t think any other league’s star athletes would do something like that.

Parise also signed autographs for fans at the player’s parking lot for 45 minutes after talking to us.

Only an NHL player would have this kind of down-to-earth mentality.

Way to be a man of the people, Zach.
