Can somebody please explain to me why Sergei Gonchar isn't on the all-star ballot, again!

Last year he finished SECOND among defensemen in points - SECOND in the entire league!

That means there was only one defensemen who put up more points in the whole league.

And guess where he is this season? Yep, second among defensemen in points.

Anybody see some consistency as a top-tier all-star defensemen here?

He's good enough to out pace every defensemen but one in scoring but not good enough to beat out all of those other defensemen in making the All-Star game?
