Toronto Maple Leafs recall defenceman Stralman from AHL Marlies

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs recalled defenceman Anton Stralman from the AHL's Toronto Marlies on Wednesday.

The Leafs also assigned defenceman Jaime Sifers to the Marlies. Stralman has appeared in 21 games with Toronto this season, recording a goal and six assists. The native of Tibro, Sweden, was assigned to the Marlies on Dec, 14 and had a goal and two assists in 12 contests.

Sifers appeared in 14 games with the Maple Leafs, registering two assists. The rookie defenceman was recalled from the Marlies on Dec. 7 after recording two goals and four assists in 19 games.
