The win moved the Knights (45-24-4-1) atop the West Division, two points ahead of the idle Chicago Wolves. Cam Cunning had the other goal for Omaha while Curtis McElhinney stopped 24 shots.

Brad Moran and Dustin Wood replied for Manitoba (42-22-7-5), which remains first in the North Division. Drew MacIntyre also stopped 24 shots.
