It didn’t take long for Brandon Prust to become a fan favorite for the Montreal Canadiens.

Prust laid his body on the line for the team in 2013 and helped revitalize the Habs after their forgettable 2011-12 season. Prust brought some of that same moxy he exhibited on the ice to the third annual Drew Doughty Grand Slam for Cancer last weekend in London, Ont., and’s Tyson Geick was there.

Prust spoke about his participation in the event, his first year with the Canadiens, getting healthy in the off-season and more.
