The NHL leader in goaltender wins may not be atop the leaderboard much longer.

With 6:15 to go in the first period against the Florida Panthers Sunday night, Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford made a routine kick save, turning away a Marcel Goc wrister with his right pad. He immediately tried to push off with his left skate, but he couldn't complete the movement, seeming to favor his right side as he collapsed.

Crawford was unable to stand until helped to his feet. He was helped off at a snail's pace and backup Antti Raanta took over. Crawford stopped all four shots he faced in the period.

The 28-year-old Stanley Cup winner is 17-6-3 with a .906 save percentage and a 2.49 goals-against average this season. He leads all goaltenders with 26 games played.

Check out the incident below.

The extent of the injury is not yet known, but if Crawford misses a lengthy stretch, the Hawks will be OK. They're a middle of the pack defensive team this year, but they're No. 1 in goals per game. In other words, the Hawks without Crawford wouldn't resemble the Predators without Pekka Rinne. After Crawford left with injury, the Hawks scored four more times to win 6-2. It was a typical explosive offensive performance from the star-studded Blackhawks.
