In his sophomore season with the Calgary Hitmen, Jake Virtanen put up solid numbers and made another step in his development as an elite prospect. His play also earned him an invite to Team Canada’s Under-18 camp this summer. Virtanen made the team and will wear the red and white at the Ivan Hlinka Tournament in August.

THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with the budding prospect at Team Canada’s camp to discuss representing his country on the world stage, his year in Calgary, and more.
