Being the youngest player on his Finnish team, Assat, hasn’t hindered Joel Armia’s development. If anything, he feels playing with much older players has improved his overall skill.

However, Armia still knows he must improve his strength and speed to play at the next level. His shooting ability may be his best asset and his 18 goals in 48 games this season are evidence of that.

THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with Armia as he prepared for the upcoming NHL draft.
