With the Stadium Series heading to Los Angeles this Saturday, the best hockey ambassador California has ever known took to the late night airwaves Thursday.

Wayne Gretzky, the Great One who the NHL pushed away for three years over $8 million he was owed, is now full compensated and back on the promotional pony. Thursday, Wayner was on Conan O'Brien (the best late night show there is, by the way) where he discussed the Saturday Night Live experience his wife Janet nominated him for as well as "The Trade."

That SNL appearance...nightmares. Nightmares.

Still: it's always great to say Gretzky.
