Young scores winner to lead Victoria Salmon Kings in 3-1 win over Wranglers

Joe Tallari scored 4:57 into the match for Las Vegas (18-7-3-5). Kiel McLeod tied it before the period ended, and Young counted the winner at 8:14 of the second period. Matt Kelly added an insurance goal in the third for Victoria (13-21-0-1).

Wranglers goalie Kevin Nastiuk blocked 27 shots, while Bryan Bridges made 17 saves for the Salmon Kings.

Neither team was able to convert on the power play, with Victoria failing on seven opportunities and Las Vegas missing on four chances.
