Zach Boychuk scores twice as the Hurricanes beat the Warriors

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Zach Boychuk scored twice and the Lethbridge Hurricanes rolled to a 5-1 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors in Western Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.

Dwight King, Nick Hotson and Jesse Craige also scored for Lethbridge (13-7-1-1) as the Hurricanes moved into a tie for first place in the Central Division. The Hurricanes ran up leads of 1-0 and 3-0 through the period breaks and have racked up 19 of a possible 20 points in their last 10 games (9-0-0-1).

Moose Jaw's Jordan Knackstedt broke Michael Maniago's shutout bid with a breakaway goal early in the third period. Maniago made 20 saves to get the victory for Lethbridge while Joey Perricone made 24 stops for Moose Jaw (9-7-3-1).
