Classic Sense wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) Classic Sense beat long-shot Lieutenant Seany O by 1 1/4 lengths Thursday in the $67,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct.

The 3-year-old was a horse for the muddy course. Classic Sense is now 3-1-0 in four races on wet tracks. He is 0 for 7 on other surfaces.

Jose Ortiz was aboard for trainer Chad Brown as Classic Sense paid $5.20, $3.40 and $2.10 as the 8-5 second choice.

Lieutenant Seany O carried the highest odds in the field at 20-1, returning $11.60 and $4.90.

Celebrated Talent, the slight 7-5 favorite, paid $2.60 to show.

The time was 1:44.52 for 1 1/16 miles.
