NEW YORK (AP) Turco Bravo posted another upset victory in the $125,000 Stymie Stakes, rallying from last to beat the favored Dontbetwithbruno by one length on Sunday at Aqueduct.

He won this stakes at 9-1 last year. This time the payoff was 20-1, the longest odds in the six-horse field.

The repeat bid got little respect from the bettors who noted that the 7-year-old gelding was winless in eight races since the 2015 Stymie.

Turning back the clock, Turco Bravo rolled to his 12th win in 48 starts.

Manny Franco rode for trainer Gary Contessa as Turco Bravo ran 1 1/8 miles in 1:50.96 on the fast track. The payoffs were $42.40, $14 and $5.20.

Dontbetwithbruno returned $4.30 and $2.90 as the 8-5 choice.

Irad Ortiz, Jr. rode four winners on the card and finished third in the Stymie on Madefromlucky. He paid $2.70 to show.
