Royals have interest in trading for Mets' Francoeur

There is talk of a multi-player trade between the Mets and Royals that could send Ollie Perez and Jeff Francouer to Kansas City. Several players are in the discussions, including possibly Gil Meche, Luis Castillo, Kyle Farnsworth and Jose Guillen. Several of the players involved are considered overpaid or underachieving.
