Pierzynski re-signing with White Sox for two years

A.J. Pierzynski is re-signing with the White Sox.

Sources tell SI.com the contract is for $8 million over two years.

The deal was first reported by Foxsports.com.

The two-time (2002, 2006) All-Star, who hit .270 with nine homers and 56 RBIs in 128 games last season, has spent the last six seasons with the White Sox. He also spent time with the Giants and Twins.
