The Rangers have agreed to terms with closer Joe Nathan on a two-year contract worth about $14 million.

Nathan missed the 2010 season with Tommy John surgery, but returned to the Twins in 2011, appearing in 48 games with a 4.84 ERA and 14 saves. Texas is hoping Nathan, who boasts a career 2.87 ERA, can reclaim his old form in Arlington, where he'll shift into the closer role.

With the addition, the Rangers plan to move Netfali Feliz into the rotation, a decision that has been in the works for sometime. Feliz dominated out the bullpen last season with a 2.74 ERA and 32 saves in 64 games, but has been projected inside the organization as a starter.
