Tim Hudson, Tyler Clippard, Huston Street added to All-Star roster

Nationals pitcher Tyler Clippard and Giants right hander Tim Hudson were late adds on Sunday to the NL Roster for Tuesday's All-Star game in Minneapolis, according to multiple reports.

Washington Nationals pitcher Tyler Clippard, San Francisco Giants right hander Tim Hudson, San Diego Padres closer Huston Street and Cincinnati Reds pitcher Alfredo Simon were late adds on Sunday to the National League Roster for Tuesday's All-Star game in Minneapolis, MLB announced

For Hudson, it's his fourth All-Star appearance and first since 2010. He's posted a 2.87 ERA and 1.10 WHIP in 18 starts over the first half. 

Nats pitcher Tyler Clippard will join Hudson in Minneapolis. It's the second All-Star appearance for the 29-year-old, the first coming in 2011. He's recorded a 2.03 ERA with 53 strikeouts over 40 innings. 

Street will be making his second All-Star appearance. He has 24 saves with 1.09 ERA and a 0.76 WHIP this season for the Padres. 

Simon, a right-hander, has started the season 12-3 for the Reds with a 2.70 ERA.
