CHICAGO (AP) Craig Gentry has left Oakland's game at the Chicago White Sox after sustaining a concussion in a collision at first base while beating out a bunt single Tuesday night.

Coco Crisp had just reached on an error leading off the fifth when Gentry laid down a bunt toward the right side. He beat pitcher John Danks' throw but his head collided with Carlos Sanchez's shoulder while the second baseman was covering the bag.

Gentry stayed down for several minutes, holding his head while being tended to by a trainer. He then walked gingerly off the field and was replaced at first base by pinch-runner Josh Reddick.
