Thursday April 23rd, 2015

New York Mets centerfielder Juan Lagares made a spectacular over-the-shoulder catch of a Jace Peterson fly ball on Wednesday night against the Atlanta Braves.

Trailing 2-0 in the top of the seventh, Peterson hit a ball into deep center that Lagares tracked down two steps from the warning track to lead off the inning.

In the bottom of the inning, Wilmer Flores hit a solo home run to tie the game at 2. Though the middle of the eighth, Peterson was 0-2.
