Dodgers rookie Joc Pederson will start the 2015 All-Star Game in place of Cardinals oufielder Matt Holliday, with the Brewers' Ryan Braun added to the roster.
According to the Orange County Register, Pederson will become the first-ever Dodgers rookie to start the All-Star Game. The young outfielder has hit .230 with 20 home runs and 40 RBIs for Los Angeles.
This will be the sixth All-Star appearance for Braun, who is batting .272 with 15 home runs, 55 RBIs and 12 stolen bases.
Holliday, 35, will miss the game due to a quad injury that has sidelined him since June 8.
