All-Star Game lineups, starting pitchers revealed
The lineups and starting pitchers for Tuesday’s All-Star Game were revealed at Monday’s press conference in Cincinnati.
Los Angeles Dodgers righthander Zack Greinke and Houston Astros lefthander Dallas Keuchel were selected as the starters by the All-Star managers—the San Francisco Giants’ Bruce Bochy and the Kansas City Royals’ Ned Yost—for the National League and American League, respectively.
Greinke is 8–2 with a MLB-best 1.39 ERA, 106 strikeouts and 20 walks. He also currently has a scoreless streak of 35 2/3 innings.
Greinke is in his third season with the Dodgers, who entered the All-Star break 51–39 with a two-game lead in the NL West. This is Greinke’s third All-Star selection.

Keuchel is 11–1 with a 2.23 ERA, 114 strikeouts and 34 walks. He leads the American League with 11 wins and the majors with 19 starts and 137 1/3 innings pitched over the season’s first half. The Astros are 49–42, a 1/2-game behind the Los Angeles Angels in the AL West. This is Keucehl’s first All-Star selection.
The lineups for both teams were also announced by Bochy and Yost.
