ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Erasmo Ramirez has a no-hitter through six innings against the New York Yankees.

The lone baserunner for the Yankees came when Alex Rodriguez walked with two outs in the fourth.

Ramirez has six strikeouts and has thrown 77 pitches.

Second baseman Logan Forsythe, playing in shallow right field, made a leaping catch on Greg Bird's soft liner in the second.

Carlos Beltran hit an opposite-field fly ball leading off the fifth that was caught on the warning track.
