Blue Jays centerfielder Kevin Pillar ran down a fly ball in on Monday against the Rays and paid a steep price.

During the bottom of the seventh, Pillar ranged back to his right and made a spectacular catch as he crashed head-first into the wall. He got up moments later and remained in the game.

Toronto led 5–3 at the time of the catch, and Pillar was 0-for-4 at the plate.
