Aaron Hicks recorded the fastest throw ever recorded from the outfield as he gunned down Danny Valencia trying to score on a sacrifice fly in the top of the third inning at Yankee Stadium.

The throw was recorded at 105.5 miles per hour by Statcast, according to MLB.com's Bryan Hoch.

The Athletics won the game 5–1 to take the three-game series with the finale set for Thursday night.
