The Angels are on fire early on in free agency. GM Perry Minasian challenged himself to be better this offseason, and that's exactly what he's done.

First, he shored up the rotation, signing All-Star LHP Tyler Anderson to a three-year deal at $13 million a season. Then, he went out and traded for 31-year-old infielder Gio Urshela from the Twins, a career .275 hitter with 62 home runs and 256 RBIs.

Where Urshela will play on the field is yet to be determined. He's played 548 of his 582 career games at third base. His next highest position is shortstop, where he's played in 43 games. He's also played five games at second base, and three at first base. But figuring out where he'll play is the easy part — and Angel fans are thrilled to see Minasian making win-now moves early on in free agency.

Early on in free agency, Minasian and the Angels are making all the right moves. They've shored up the starting rotation and the infield, leaving the corner outfield spot as the biggest need the team is left to fill. However, this doesn't mean they're done making moves. They still could look to make a big splash at shortstop, and add another arm to the rotation. Minasian has proven he wants to contend. The Angels aren't done making moves.
