The fact of the matter is that there are a ton of struggles that come with being a part of the MLB and the Los Angeles Angels franchise is no exception to this. They have been slandered constantly over the past few years for their lack of success, poor management, and failure to put their superstar players in good situations.

This 2023 season is one of the most prominent ones in the history of the Halos' history and all eyes have been on them these first two months of the new MLB year. It is not because they are viewed as contenders but opposing front offices are hoping that all falls apart for LA and Shohei Ohtani becomes available to trade for.

However, the Angels are not going out without a fight. Even if it takes a trip to the wild card, they are determined to make the playoffs for the first time since 2014. Team owner Arte Moreno made it very clear that they would not take phone calls on The Unicorn if they were in postseason contention and all reports have been pointing towards this claim holding up strong.

But then you see LA drop a huge series to the Houston Astros this past weekend and it becomes a big question as to whether or not this should be the case.

Mike Trout as been the undisputed leader for the Halos since he landed there and opened up about some of the recent struggles surrounding the franchise right now and not all of them involve baseball.

“This game can drive you crazy a little bit when you’re trying to do too much up there and your mind starts racing,” Trout said. “Your body does things that you don’t want it to do. Your (swings) get to be long, instead of just staying short and trusting yourself. I think it’s a mindset.”

Hopefully the Angels are able to come together as a group and remain strong with everybody's support.
