The Los Angeles Angels are on a roll. As of Saturday, the Halos are on a five-game winning streak and picked up a great win against the AL West division leaders Texas Rangers.

Halos won, 5-4 in extras, thanks to a wild pitch that scored rookie Zach Neto. The celebration was on, and after the game, Bally Sports West broadcasted their post-game show; however, their broadcast location was different as they were seen on the field instead of outside the stadium as they usually are.

Twitter account Beyond The Halo pointed it out last night, and it was due to the "Sell The Team" chants that took place on April 25th.

The "Sell The Team" chants occurred after a win against the Oakland A's. The chants were evident, and the broadcast team looked shocked by the chants as well.

Unfortunately, that chant may not be the last time we hear this from Angel fans. Angels owner Arte Moreno has owned the team since 2003, and even though the value of the team has skyrocketed, the wins and playoff appearances have not.

Morenos' time as owner has been filled with more bad than good. He's wasted years of superstar talent in Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani; he's had several bad signings, mismanagement of the team, and incompetence at the highest level.

Halos fans seem to be sick and tired of it, even though they are winning baseball games this season. However, they saw this movie last year but hope for a different ending this time. Arte announced he was putting the team for sale last summer but had a change of heart and said he no longer wanted to sell the team in January.

I'm sure many Halo fans were upset that he changed his mind, but that's because of the dysfunction and instability the Angels have gone through under Moreno's reign.

Hopefully, 2023 brings the fans and team new hope, and they finally experience some winning baseball in a long time. Winning cures all, let's see if the Angels can accomplish that.
