The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is a renowned destination, with its place in MLB history. The nearly 130-year-old hotel is considered one of the most haunted places in the city, and visiting baseball teams usually get the spooky pleasure of staying there while playing the Brewers. However, Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts opted out of staying with the rest of the team and picked up his own Airbnb near the ballpark.

Betts is staying in a local Airbnb for the series, he says “just in case” the ghost stories are true.

It was a good excuse (not to stay there),” Betts said.

Betts stated that he had stayed at the Pfister before but was unable to sleep easy.

"I couldn’t sleep. Every noise, I’d be like, ‘Is that something?’”

Over the years MLB stars have encountered strange happenings at the hotel, including former Dodger Adrian Beltre, who reported hearing knocking at his door despite having turned off the TV and air conditioner.

Other big leaguers have described flickering lights, weird noises, electronic devices malfunctioning, and objects moving on their own in their rooms at the Pfister. The hotel, which opened in 1893, is one of Milwaukee's most luxurious, as long as guests don't mind a fright or two.
