Dodgers: Ryan Pepiot Makes History at Justin Turner Golf Event

The Dodgers pitcher hit a crazy hole-in-one at the golf tournament.

This week, former Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner held his seventh annual Justin Turner Golf Classic. During the tournament, Dodgers pitcher Ryan Pepiot had quite a standout performance, hitting the classic’s first-ever hole-in-one.

JT posted the moment on his Instagram feed.

This hole-in-one was a first for the tournament and a first for the pitcher as well. Pepiot was feeling pretty good about his shot; he took in the moment at Sherwood County Club.

The 25-year-old celebrated with the rest of the group and was even congratulated by MLB legend, Albert Pujols. Pepiot was clearly the man of the hour as he was splashed with water bottles and hyped up by the rest of the players.

To honor his performance, Turner gifted Pepiot with a celebratory bottle of Don Julio tequila. To remember exactly how great of a performance it was, Turner wrote on the bottle: “Hole 17, 182 yards, Sherwood CC, Hole in 1.”

The Justin Turner Golf Classic was held at the Sherwood County Club in Thousand Oaks, California. Turner puts on the tournament each year with the goal to raise money and awareness for his Justin Turner Foundation. His foundation supports youth baseball organizations, homeless veterans, along with families in need that may be suffering from diseases and illnesses.

Pepiot's hole-in-one will certainly be one to remember. Dodger fans hope to expect the same level of excitement from Pepiot at Dodger Stadium as he enters the 2023 season.
