Dodgers: Stephen Nelson and Family Share Exciting Announcement

The new Dodgers commentator shared some exciting news on social media before heading into the 2023 baseball season.

Back in mid-January, the Dodgers announced that they would be adding a new member to the broadcast team alongside Joe Davis and Orel Hershiser.

Just this past weekend, Nelson announced some exciting news that he and his wife would be adding a new member to their family as well.

The Nelson family sure looks good repping that Dodger Blue already!

Although it's tough to make out her whole face, Stephen's wife is another television personality, Cori Coffin. She is a two-time Emmy award winner and freelance anchor for NBC News.

Stephen is a Southern California native who graduated from Chapman University where he spent his time interning for both KTLA and Fox Sports West.

Since then, Stephen Nelson has emerged as an award-winning television personality as well as a play-by-play commentator who works for MLB Network, NHL Network, and now the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Cori and Stephen got married back in 2018 and in the fall of 2021, they welcomed baby Kai into the world.

The arrival of baby Nelson #2 is unknown but could happen sometime toward the end of baseball season or right after.

Lots of changes coming to Stephen and his family, but also very exciting news going into the 2023 baseball season. Congratulations to the Nelson Family and we look forward to hearing Stephen call his first Dodgers game in the (very) near future!
