The team improved to 86-56 after the win against the Orioles. The Tribe magic number is now at 10.

1. Not Going Down

The Indians was trailing early in the game but only down 1-0.

Giovanny Urshela tied the game in the bottom of the third where he doubled off the left field wall to score catcher Yan Gomes.

Then in the bottom of the fourth, Jay Bruce singled to right to give the Indians the lead for good.

One highlight of the day was the AB's for Carlos Santana, as he went 2-for-3, collecting his 38th multi-hit game of 2017.

Francisco Lindor gave the Indians an insurance run with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh, his 28th overall, a key run as it was breathing room for the pen.

2. Josh Tomlin's Outing

Indians starter Josh Tomlin attacked the plate all day long. Though it was a short outing, his final line was five innings pitched, giving up two runs on four hits, striking out three with 78 total pitches.

This was his second straight outing he pitched only five innings plus. Tomlin was just activated from the disabled list on September 3rd against the Detroit Tigers.

With the offense keeping the lead, it was enough to give Tomlin the win. He's now back at the .500 mark with a 9-9 record.

The right-hander faced one batter in the sixth {Tim Beckham} who homered to right to cut the Indians lead 3-2. That was it for Tomlin.

3. Bullpen Does the Rest

After Tribe skipper Terry Francona pulled Josh Tomlin from the game, the bullpen was ready to go.

The Indians used five relievers Saturday, all of whom pitched at-least an inning. The bullpen gave up no runs and struck out seven Orioles batters.

The only Orioles hit against the bullpen Joe Smith when Adam Jones singled to right.
