Clevinger and Merritt to start Saturday's Doubleheader in Minnesota for Indians

CLEVELAND - Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona met with the media before today's game against the Dodgers that right-hander Mike Clevinger and left-hander Ryan Merritt will start in the day-night doubleheader Saturday against the Twins.

However, Francona is unsure which pitchers will start in what game. One of the games will be a makeup from a rainout in Minnesota back on April 19th.

The first game will start at 2:10 ET and the night will start at 8:10 ET.

Merritt made his start in Lake County last night as he went seven strong innings, giving up two runs, striking out seven. In Clevinger's last start on June 11th, he took the loss against Indianapolis for the Columbus Clippers.

Clevinger is also 2-3 with the Indians this season.
