CLEVELAND, Ohio- The Cleveland Indians’ ace, Corey Kluber, will miss this upcoming week’s 2018 MLB All-Star Game. Kluber received injections into his right knee on Thursday night following his start against the Yankees, a start in which he allowed six earned runs.
The injections are to help Kluber regain full capabilities in his right knee, as it’s been hindering him on the mound.
As a result, Tampa Bay Rays starter Blake Snell will make the AL All-Star team.
Kluber will make the fourth start of the second half for the Tribe, that being against the Pittsburgh Pirates on July 23rd. The time off will give him time to heal and will also line up perfectly so Kluber doesn’t need to hit the disabled list.
