The Cleveland Indians have activated outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall from the disabled list, multiple reports stated on Tuesday. As a result, the Tribe optioned outfielder Bradley Zimmer to Triple-A Columbus.
Chisenhall batted .286 with two home runs and six RBI while rehabbing in the minors. He went down early in the season and has had a long climb back to playing shape.
Zimmer, meanwhile, is batting a meager .226 on the campaign through 34 games. He has five doubles, two home runs, and nine runs batted in. He’s also swiped four bags for a stolen base this season.
