It’s been a really strong few weeks for Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor, especially at the plate. Lindor has been one of the few consistent bats this season and it’s been turned up a few notches since the month of May began.
Which is why he’s once again been named AL Player Of The Week.
Lindor is sharing the honors with Seattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton, who threw a no-hitter this past week. For Paxton, it is his third time winning the award.
During the last seven days, Lindor has been hitting the cover off the ball.
Not bad at all for Frankie. And for someone who is already sound defensively (despite the few blips on the radar as of late), this roll Lindor is on offensively is welcomed by the Tribe.
