Pitching Rotation for Indians Game One and Two of the ALDS Announced; All Else TBD

With the final game of the regular season being played Sunday, the Indians will have some days off before they start the ALDS against the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Field in Houston.

The team today announced some of their pitching rotation for the best-of-five series, as Terry Francona stated that Corey Kluber will go in game one, with Carlos Carrasco throwing game two.

After that, it's a wait and see approach.

Francona, via Zack Meisel of The Athletic, said that the team will wrap up the series with the Royals and get past the regular season, and then make a decision on who will start game three.

It was though that Mike Clevinger would start game three, as Francona said on Wednesday that Clevinger would be 'in the plans' for game three, but now it sounds like the team is going to revisit that earlier indication.

Trevor Bauer is scheduled to pitch in the regular season finale out of the pen, and if he comes out of the finale okay, it's possible he might get the ball for game three instead.

The Tribe will have an intersquad scrimmage on Tuesday, and it might be at that point Francona will shed more light on who will start the third game which will be played on Monday, October 8th at Progressive Field.
