Mets pitcher Jose Quintana has withdrawn from the World Baseball Classic.

Quintana was set to pitch for Team Colombia in the WBC, but had to pull out after he exited Sunday’s Grapefruit League game due to left side tightness.

According to GM Billy Eppler, Quintana will undergo testing on Monday.

Quintana is slated to be the Mets’ No. 4 starter in their rotation this season.

The 34-year-old signed a two-year, $26 million deal with the Mets this offseason.

The hope is that Quintana will be ready for Opening Day, but his status is in jeopardy until the Mets find out more from his testing.
