Cincinnati Reds pitcher Homer Bailey threw the second no-hitter of his career Tuesday in a 3-0 win against the Giants, allowing just one walk and striking out nine.

Bailey recorded the final out of the no-hitter, his second in 10 months, by forcing Giants outfielder Gregor Blanco to ground out to third base. With Tuesday's no-no, Bailey becomes the first pitcher since Nolan Ryan in 1974-75 to have thrown MLB's two most recent no-hitters. Bailey's first no-hitter came on Sept. 28, 2012 in a 1-0 victory against the Pirates.
