The MLB and the MLBPA finally came to an agreement to start the shortened season, but this agreement brought with it a couple of rule changes that have surprised fans.

Baseball will kick off its 60-game season on July 23rd or 24th, and starting then, the league will see the these new rules implemented to game action: a universal DH, a three batter minimum for relief pitchers, and a runner starting on second base in extra innings.

MLB will also be taking safety precautions to hopefully curb the spread of coronavirus in the sport.
