This year, no new players were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Looking ahead, that could happen again in 2022 and 2023 based on the voting trends.

After Curt Schilling missed induction by a few votes, he blamed the media and asked to be removed from next year's ballot. The top players on which will now include Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds in their final chances on the ballot, as well as two very strong newcomers with ties to PEDs. Then in 2023, another player will be added to the ballot who has had some major controversy over the last couple of years, leading us to 2024, when Adrian Beltre arrives on the ballot.
