Wow, such a cool article!! I had looked into his career quite a bit already but learned a lot from that. The steal of third up big, one of 9!!! players in last 30 years w 51/51/30, the 51 rbi/.266 slugging, and his final quote were all great.

I also love how much he embraced life as a baseball player off the field. My college teammates made fun of me because after practice/before practice/in between classes, I lived in our locker room, watching baseball, talking baseball, shooting the shit, and enjoying the camaraderie. Nothing like it. Not surprised MJ, an international icon, relished the chance to just be one of the guys.
