Cris Cyborg (16-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) defeated Leslie Smith (8-7-1 MMA, 2-3 UFC) by technical knockout in her UFC debut on Saturday night at UFC 198.

The 30-year-old Cyborg landed a flurry of punches to knock Smith to the mat just 1:21 into the first round of the fight. She landed 21 of 32 punches (66%) in the fight.

Smith, 33, was coming off wins over Rin Nakai and Jessamyn Duke, and a loss to Jessica Eye.
