The Los Angeles Rams coach is the face of a franchise’s nomadic period for the second time in his career. First time around, after four non-playoff seasons, he guided the Titans to the Super Bowl. Now, after four seasons of rebuilding the Rams—and no playoff appearances to show for it—the team is negotiating a second contract with him. And so in an L.A. market that has a penchant for being fickle, the pressure will soon rise to keep fans engaged (read: win) as the wheels start spinning on the team’s three-year runway to its new palace in Inglewood.
