John Calipari must have had a familiar feeling in his stomach as he watched his team miss some clutch free throws in the last minutes of the championship game of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Classic. Terrell Holloway led Xavier with 13 points -- 10 which came from free throws.

Duke 78, Montana 58

Duke grabbed its third win in four days as it pushed past Montana Sunday. Two days earlier, the Blue Devils took the 2K Sports Classic tourney title, when they defeated Southern Illinois, 83-58.

James Harden (pictured) nearly outscored the entire Pepperdine team, putting up 33 points as the Sun Devils cruised to an easy win. Harden's explanation for his fourth career double-double? ''My teammates did a real good job of finding me,'' he told the AP.

Preseason Big Ten player of the year Robbie Hummel put up his sixth career double-double as the Boilermakers stomped on Coppin State for their fourth win of the season.

A.J. Price (pictured) had 13 points and 11 rebounds while Hasheem Thabeet finished with 19 points and 14 rebounds as UConn advanced to the finals of the Paradise Jam.

Missouri 83, USC 71

USC blew a halftime lead and fell to DeMarre Carroll (pictured) and Missouri at the Puerto Rico Tip Off. It was the Trojans' second upset of the Tip Off -- on Thursday they were tripped up by Seton Hall, 63-61.

Louisville 81, Southern Alabama 54

Southern Alabama hung around for the first half, but freshman sensation Samardo Samuels' 24 points helped the Cards to an 81-54 victory. Coach Rick Pitino isn't quite satisfied yet. ''He's maybe the best freshman I've ever coached, but he doesn't rebound, he doesn't play defense,'' he told the AP.
