THURSDAY: 12/11, TNT, 10:30 p.m. NBA: Trailblazers at Jazz Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge and the Blazers head into Salt Lake City, where Jerry Sloan this week marked his 20th anniversary as head coach of the Jazz. Portland is locked in a tie with the Nuggets atop the Northwest Division, but the Jazz are just one game back and a solid 9-3 at home on the season.

FRIDAY: 12/12, ESPN, 8:00 p.m. NBA: Hornets at Celtics After sputtering to a 5-5 start, Chris Paul and the Hornets have turned things around recently, winning six of their last seven games. Still, no NBA team is hotter than the defending champs, who have run off 12 straight wins, lifting their record to 20-2, and giving them a comfy 7 1/2-game lead in the Atlantic Division.

SATURDAY: 12/13, CBS, 2:00 p.m. CBB: Memphis at Georgetown After handing Savannah State a 62-point loss on Monday, No. 19 Georgetown (5-1) welcomes No. 17 Memphis (6-1) to the Verizon Center as college hoops kicks of its national TV schedule. Despite suffering big losses after last season (Derrick Rose at Memphis, and Roy Hibbert at Georgetown, to name two), both teams have started strong and look to build momentum with a big out of conference win early in the campaign.

SUNDAY: 12/14, CBS, 1:00 p.m. NFL: Steelers at Ravens In a game that's likely to determine the AFC North winner, Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers travel south to take on Ray Lewis, Joe Flacco and the Ravens. After losing its first two games to start the season, Baltimore has won seven of eight and looks to stay hot against a Steelers club that's coming off a huge comeback win over the Cowboys a week ago.

SUNDAY: 12/14, NBC, 8:15 p.m. NFL: Giants at Cowboys Two clubs in different degrees of disarray look to bounce back from tough Week 14 losses when they square off in Dallas. Mired in the Plaxico Burress debacle, the Giants lost at home to the Eagles, while Tony Romo and the Cowboys coughed up a late lead in Pittsburgh. With playoff positioning on the line, tune in to see how they respond.
